Born: 1 May 1964 in Århus.
Education:
Folkeskole (primary school) in Århus 1970 - 79.

Employment:
Technical consultant with DSB (the Danish state-owned railway company) travel agency division 1986 - 90.
Head of secretariat in the Folketing for the Progress Party from 1991 - 95 and for the Danish People's Party from 1995 - 98.
Political Career:
The Danish People's Party - Member of the Folketing for the Eastern constituency from 11 March 1998.
Member of the Folketing's Data Processing Steering Committee 1992 - 97. Member of the council of representatives of the Danish Foreign Policy Institute (DUPI) 1996 - 99.
Vice-chairman of the Danish People's Party and of the Parliamentary Danish People's Party from 1998.
German Marshall Fellow.
Vice-chairman of the Folketing's Transport Committee from 2001, member of the Folketing's Foreign Affairs Board, the Defence Committee, the Legal Affairs Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee from 1998, of the 21-Man Committee regarding the Faeroes from 2000, of the Economic and Political Affairs Committee and the Interparliamentary Committee (IPU) 2001, and NATO's Parliamentary Assembly (NPA) from 1998.
Member of the EU Convention from 2002.
Co-author of "Bogen om de politiske partier og deres markedsføring" (The Book on the Political Parties and their Marketing).
