December 04, 2002 Giscard outlines Europe vision to French National Assembly Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, president of the Convention on the Future of Europe, outlined his vision on Europe before the French National Assembly. With an audience of 150 deputies, including French prime minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Mr Giscard spoke for almost an hour about a future European constitution and the reform of European institutions after enlargement.
