Gisela Stuart - Brits will be brainwashed

Presidium member Gisela Stuart has stated that she thinks the Constitution being prepared by the Convention could make the EU more confusing, bureaucratic and difficult to understand. According to British tabloid The Sun, the MP claims that the convention's aim was to ?strip out Britishness? to turn everyone into European citizens.

Quite how she thinks it could become more confusing is anyone's guess, and her comments are perhaps a signal of the confusing messages from Britain's Convention Members. Perhaps the UK government might like to consider a federal solution as being more clear, democratic and understandable...?
