Prodi-Giscard: Rhetoric level set to ‘wild-west’

Commission President Romano Prodi still has the belly for a fight it seems. Late on Tuesday, after being publicly challenged by Convention President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing to a tête-à-tête, Mr Prodi reacted in kind, telling French television he will face-off, "in any major EU city, in Italy or elsewhere".
