UK foreign office slammed for convention stance In an explosive letter, leaked to the British daily the Times, a senior advisor to the UK prime minister has lambasted the Foreign Office's conservative negotiating position in the Convention on the future of Europe, reminding ministers the current prime minister "is not John Major".
